Hazari Prasad Foundation is a Charitable Trust run by Dr. Vishwanath Prasad H (Founder - Chairman, Rhythms Academy of Fine arts) in memory of his father late Sri K S Hazari Prasad, who was an ardent music lover and a musician himself with vast knowledge in Tabla.

This Trust was inaugurated by Governor of Karnataka Sri T.N. Chaturvedi & Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi in 2004. Objectives of the trust are as follows:

• Supporting the visually impaired, orphans, differently abled and underprivileged by providing free fine arts education, scholarship, Instruments, medical aid and by creating employment opportunities
• Scholarship for pursuing fine arts to deserving and the underprivileged budding artists
• Lending helping hand to underprivileged artists by providing platform and medical aid
• Recognising and awarding with "Kala Seva Puraskar" which carries a citation, cash reward, etc., to artists who have contributed tremendously in the field of Fine arts but have relatively not been in limelight
